About P. Cullen and Son
A father, a son, and one rule.

The father
He started out building yachts.
Searching for dreams? Looking for a better approach? Those were the questions a young Pat Cullen put to himself in the early 1950s, while he was building small and large yachts.
Pat had a dream of owning his own business: building homes and improving home reconstruction for Long Island. Dreams and hard work being what they are, he did it.
Over 50 years later, the company is still rebuilding Long Island. It is quite a bit larger than it was in the early years, but hands-on service and quality work are still its most valued asset.
The son
“It's called P. Cullen and Son because I'm the son.”
Pat Cullen, owner
Today the company is run by Pat, the son. His father raised him on one rule, and it is the rule the company still works by: don't cut corners.
That means the parts nobody sees get the same care as the parts everybody does. It means all permits and plans, handled properly. And it means close attention to architectural detail, so an extension blends with the house it is added to.

The rule
Don't cut corners.
